Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, would like to cordially invite academics, lecturers, researchers, and students to join the international seminar on “Digital Media in Challenging Era, Technology, Communication, and Frontier” on 28th -29th November 2023. The objectives of this seminar are to provide opportunities for academics in related fields to exchange ideas related to digital media study in Global and Asia, to create academic and researcher cooperation among universities, and to be a forum for exchanging knowledge, information, news, and media study.
In an era of rapid technological progress, the dynamic relationship between technology and mass communication, as well as the scope of digital media, changes quickly. The challenges of digital media encompass the interplay of technology, communication, and advanced thinking. This context holds immense significance due to technological advancements, communication strategy, innovation, creativity, globalization considerations, cultural differences, and data-driven decision-making.
Therefore, the combination of technology, communication, and advanced thinking is crucial in facing challenges in the digital media era. This seminar, organized by the School of Informatics in collaboration with the Informatics Innovation Center of Excellence, focuses on key topics such as information technology, mass communication, and digital content. It is a collaborative project involving the faculty's research network, including the University of Amsterdam, UNTAG University Surabaya, Xavier University, and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology.
The target audience comprises teachers, academics, researchers, and students in Thailand and internationally. The seminar aims to provide participants with insights into the latest research findings, trends, and developments in the field. It also facilitates networking with experts from institutions in Thailand and abroad, enhancing knowledge and skills in information science to prepare for this ever-evolving era.
